Working together as an effective and productive team creates a partnership among equals and an overwhelmingly positive attitude. Nothing creates that environment better than a group experience with snowmobiling.
The “Welcome to Winter Experience” is an introduction to the social nature and exhilaration encountered with the sport of snowmobiling. Snowmobiling is a wonderful social activity enjoyed by families and supported by numerous clubs that are welcoming to new members. These clubs ride and maintain over 22,000 miles of snowmobile trails in Minnesota alone.
The "Welcome to Winter Experience" consists of three segments. All participants receive a personal phone introduction to determine the participants’ interest, experience with power sports, and clothing needs. They are required to take an online safety course (created by the State of Minnesota) prior to the event. And each participant receives a link to a complimentary video of their experience (which they can download) after their event.
Events are staged at locations selected by sponsors that are accessible to snowmobile trails in good condition. All snowmobiles and equipment are transported to the site and set up for the group. A tent may be set up as a staging area for people to dress and receive their hands on introduction to their provided snowmobiles.
All clothing and safety gear are provided to assure a pleasant experience in all weather conditions. Each rider receives safety training on the proper handing and technique for riding snowmobiles prior to their ride. Every event is guided by leaders who will lead and follow the group. The leaders are in contact with each other throughout the ride to assure the pace is comfortable for everyone.
The "Welcome to Winter Experience" promotes wellnessby introducing the health benefits of a physical activity that is so much fun you won’t believe it’s legal. Snowmobiling creates well being by getting people outdoors and enjoying winter. Your organization will provide a lasting impression by introducing participants (and possibly their partners) to a family friendly activity that leads to a happier, healthier and more productive lifestyle.
